What is Intent Marketing? Scale
Intent Marketing is GetSalesClaw's built-in Account-Based Marketing (ABM) wizard. Unlike the automated pipeline that finds leads matching your ICP in bulk, Intent Marketing lets you target specific companies with surgical precision.
You enter a company domain, and the AI researches the company, finds the right decision-makers, generates hyper-personalized emails based on real company data, and launches the campaign — all in one session.
The 7-step wizard
The Intent Marketing wizard guides you through a complete ABM campaign in 7 steps:
- Enter domain — Type the company's website (e.g.,
acme.com). The wizard validates the domain and checks for duplicates in your existing leads. - Company enrichment — AI enriches the company via Apollo + website scraping. You get: company summary, employee count, industry, technologies, funding, and a qualification score against your ICP(s).
- Find prospects — AI searches for decision-makers at that company matching your ICP titles. Each contact comes with name, title, email, LinkedIn, and an AI justification for why they're the right person to contact.
- Select prospects — Review the list and select which contacts to target. You can select one or multiple prospects from the same company.
- Define your angle — Choose or write a sales angle. The AI suggests angles based on the company analysis (pain points, recent news, tech stack gaps). You can customize or write your own. You can also override the email language (French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch) — by default, the language from your USER.md is used.
- Generate emails — AI generates a personalized 4-email sequence (J0, J3, J7, J10) for each selected prospect. Every email references real company data from the enrichment step.
- Launch — Review the generated sequences and launch with one click. The system creates the lead files, sequence files, and starts sending. Follow-ups happen automatically on schedule.
Multi-ICP scoring
When you enrich a company in step 2, the AI scores it against all your active ICPs (if you have multiple ICPs on the Scale plan). This means you can see which ICP segment the company fits best, and the email generation in step 6 uses the matching ICP's positioning and messaging.
If the company matches multiple ICPs, you'll see scores for each one and can choose which angle to pursue.

Tips for best results
- Research before you start — The AI does deep enrichment, but knowing your target's recent news or pain points helps you write a better angle in step 5.
- Target 2-3 prospects per company — Multi-threading (contacting multiple people at the same company) significantly increases reply rates.
- Customize the angle — The AI-suggested angles are good starting points, but adding a specific detail you know about the company makes emails much more compelling.
- Use with Multi-ICP — If you have multiple ICPs, Intent Marketing automatically scores against all of them, giving you the best positioning for each company.
- Combine with pipeline — Use the automated pipeline for volume and Intent Marketing for your top 10-20 dream accounts.
Limits & quotas
- Lead quota — Each prospect created counts toward your monthly lead limit (1,000 on Scale).
- Email quota — Each email in the sequence counts toward your monthly email limit (5,000 on Scale).
- API credits — Company enrichment uses Apollo API credits. Each enrichment costs 1 credit.
- Concurrent campaigns — No limit on how many Intent Marketing campaigns you can run simultaneously.
