Email setup

GetSalesClaw supports three email modes:

Gmail / SMTP setup

To send emails from your Gmail account:

1. Enable 2-Factor Authentication

Go to Google Account → Security and enable 2-step verification.

2. Create an App Password

  1. Go to Google Account → Security
  2. Scroll to "2-Step Verification" and click it
  3. At the bottom, find "App passwords"
  4. Create a new app password for "Mail"
  5. Copy the 16-character password (format: xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx)

3. Enter in onboarding

Select "SMTP" as email method and fill in:

Works with any SMTP provider: OVH (ssl0.ovh.net:465), Outlook (smtp.office365.com:587), etc.

Resend API

  1. Create an account at resend.com
  2. Add and verify your sending domain (requires DNS records)
  3. Create an API key at resend.com/api-keys
  4. Enter the API key (starts with re_) in the onboarding form

Manual mode

If you don't configure an email provider, GetSalesClaw still works. The AI detects leads, scores them, and generates email sequences. You can then:

Manual mode is great for testing before connecting your email. You still get Telegram alerts and the full lead pipeline.

HubSpot CRM

GetSalesClaw can sync your leads to HubSpot automatically. What gets synced:

Setup

  1. Go to HubSpot → Settings → Private Apps
  2. Create a new private app with scopes: crm.objects.contacts, crm.objects.companies, crm.objects.deals
  3. Copy the access token (starts with pat-)
  4. Enter it in the onboarding form or dashboard settings
Existing companies are matched by domain - no duplicates. Contacts are matched by email.
