How it works

GetSalesClaw uses the HubSpot private app API to push data into your CRM. The sync is one-directional: GetSalesClaw writes to HubSpot, never the other way around. Your existing HubSpot data, workflows, and automations remain untouched.

The CRM sync runs automatically after the email writing step in the pipeline. When a lead is detected, scored, and has a generated email sequence, GetSalesClaw checks whether the company and contact already exist in HubSpot. If they do, it updates the existing records. If not, it creates new ones. Deals are always created fresh for each qualified lead, so you get a clean pipeline view of AI-sourced opportunities.

Email engagements are logged on the contact timeline each time an email is sent or a follow-up goes out. This means your sales team can open any contact in HubSpot and see the full outreach history without switching tools.

How to set up

Create a HubSpot private app

Go to Settings → Integrations → Private Apps in your HubSpot account and click Create a private app. Give it a name like "GetSalesClaw" and a description.

Set the required scopes

Under the Scopes tab, enable the following permissions: crm.objects.companies.write, crm.objects.contacts.write, crm.objects.deals.write, crm.objects.companies.read, crm.objects.contacts.read, crm.objects.deals.read, sales-email-read, and timeline. These let GetSalesClaw create and update CRM records and log email engagements.

Copy your access token

After creating the app, HubSpot generates a private app access token (starts with pat-). Copy this token -- you will paste it during GetSalesClaw onboarding or in your dashboard settings.

Add the token to GetSalesClaw

During onboarding, paste your HubSpot token in the "HubSpot Private App token" field. If you have already set up your account, go to your GetSalesClaw dashboard and update the integration under Settings → Integrations → HubSpot.

That is it. The next time GetSalesClaw runs a pipeline cycle, qualified leads will appear in your HubSpot CRM within minutes.
